Every edition begins as a block of silence waiting to be broken.
The image is drawn directly onto the block — no projector, no transfer paper. The hand moves from mind to material without intermediary.
Carving takes between 4 and 40 hours depending on complexity. The negative space is as deliberate as the mark.
Each print is pulled by hand on a Vandercook proofing press, inking one pass at a time. The impression varies slightly across an edition — that variation is the point.
Every print is signed, numbered, and titled in pencil. The edition plate is destroyed after the final impression.
